Privacy policy

This policy covers https://admitcost.com. Many "chances" tools exist to build lists of students for consultants and recruiters. This one was built so that it never needs to know who you are. The publisher is established in France: the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies to everything the site does, for every visitor, and residents of US states with a consumer privacy law keep at least the rights listed here.

No cookie is set by this site and the calculators store nothing on your device.

1. Who is responsible

Radif Partners
49 rue du Ressort
63000 Clermont-Ferrand, France
contact@admitcost.com

2. What stays in your browser

The university you pick, your SAT or ACT score, your family income and your state of residence are used only by the calculation running in your own browser. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else. The "copy share link" button writes these inputs into the page address so you can send the result; whoever receives the link can read them.

3. What is processed

Hosting logs

Like every web host, GitHub records the IP address, time, page requested and browser type of each request to keep the service secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest. Retention follows GitHub's own policy.

Anonymous stability monitoring, without cookies

To find broken pages and scripts, the site loads Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, Dublin) in its cookie-free mode: errors, loading times, dead clicks and scrolling are measured per page view, without cookies and without linking visits; page content and everything you type are masked. Microsoft receives the technical data of the request, including the IP address. Legal basis: legitimate interest in a working site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object by blocking clarity.ms or by writing to us.

E-mails

If you write to us, we keep your address and message to answer, and delete them three years after the last exchange. You never need to send a score or an income to report a figure.

4. No sale, no sharing, no student lists

We do not sell or share personal information, pass anything to universities, consultants, lenders or recruiters, or build profiles.

5. Recipients and transfers

The host, GitHub, Inc., is in the United States; request data may be processed there under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

6. Your rights

You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, or object to processing, by writing to contact@admitcost.com; we answer within one month. You may also complain to the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL) (https://www.cnil.fr).

7. Children and teenagers

Many readers are high school students. The site collects nothing from anyone, so there is nothing to collect from a child under 13 either; a student can use every calculator without giving a name, an age or an e-mail address.

Averages, not offers: an admit rate describes last year’s applicant pool and a net price is what aided families paid on average. Essays, grades, course rigor, major, residency and the aid formula of each school change the result for one student. This page does not replace the university’s own net price calculator, its admission decision or its award letter.
