Averages, not decisions or offers

AdmitCost shows admit rates, test score ranges and prices published by universities and by the U.S. Department of Education. It is not a university, an admissions office or a financial aid office. A label such as "reach" or "likely" is a fixed rule of this site, not a prediction, and a net price is an average paid by other families, not an offer. Only a university's admission decision and award letter bind anyone. The method and its limits are on the method page.

Liability

Figures are read in official documents and the calculators are tested before each release, yet errors cannot be ruled out and documents age. The publisher is not liable for a decision made on these figures alone. Please report any error through the contact page.

Intellectual property

Texts, design and code belong to the publisher; short quotations with a link back are welcome. Federal data are public domain or published under the attribution terms of data.gov; figures from a university's documents are facts cited with their source. University names are used only to identify the institutions described; no affiliation is implied.

Embedding

The odds and net price calculator may be embedded for free with its credit link visible: see the embed page.

Governing law

French law applies; failing an amicable settlement, the courts of France have jurisdiction. Updated: 2026-10-12.

Averages, not offers: an admit rate describes last year’s applicant pool and a net price is what aided families paid on average. Essays, grades, course rigor, major, residency and the aid formula of each school change the result for one student. This page does not replace the university’s own net price calculator, its admission decision or its award letter.
